A Note From the Editor-In-Chief
Neon Gurl has been with me since 2018, when I launched the original blog just three days before the second Women’s March. Since then, I’ve explored different versions of her: blog series, merch, even show concepts. But now, with the tools and vision aligned, I knew it was time to build her for real.
Everything about Neon Gurl reflects who I am. As a political consultant, I’ve spent years analyzing global events—so you’ll find sharp, women-centered coverage on politics and world news. As a film major and cinema lover, I’m bringing in-depth reviews and behind-the-scenes industry deep dives. (And yes, we have BIG plans for Neon Gurl in film.) Before theater, I was all about sports—my dad’s a sports broadcaster, and championing women in sports is central to our mission.
